Salinas, CA

     Having problems with ants in your home? What about slugs and snails in your yard? Or are your roses or vegetables over run with aphids? Come learn about how less toxic gardening approaches and products can help you win the battle against these pests and protect the health of your kids, pets and wildlife.

     These FREE community clinics will provide you with information about the underlying causes of your pest problem, and how to apply healthy solutions to manage them.

     Both seminars are sponsored by the Salinas Valley Solid Waste Authority through a Household Hazardous Waste grant made possible by the California Integrated Waste Management Board (CIWMB).

The Authority, formed in 1997, is a joint powers agency made up of the cities of Gonzales, Greenfield, King City, Salinas, Soledad as well as the eastern half of unincorporated Monterey County. They promote the environmental health of the Salinas Valley through planning, public education and management of an innovative solid waste system.
