Recycling has become second nature to so many of us that we forget how much of a difference we’re really making! Recycling preserves our natural resources, conserves energy, prevents pollution and protects the environment.

The Authority along with the local waste haulers operates a recycling program which utilizes both curbside and drop-off collection methods. We’re happy to report that the cities are doing a great job at recycling in the Salinas Valley.

For the residents who choose not to participate in the curbside collection program, recycling drop-off sites are provided at the local landfills and the Madison Lane Transfer Station. (see map below)
